Mish Barber-Way's freelance work can be found in VICE, Noisey, The Talkhouse, The Guardian, i-D, Hustler, Penthouse, Dazed & Confused, LA Times, amongst many others. She is the sex and relationship columnist in the Vancouver newspaper, Westender (read “Sex, With Mish Way” HERE), and maintained a column Muff Stuff on VICE's site Broadly, where she wrote about everything from plastic surgery to murder to perverted sex. Mish has also worked as an on-camera host for VICE.
She also fronts the band White Lung signed to Domino Records. Through out their touring years, the band has received praise from Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, NME, SPIN, amongst others. Rolling Stone included their album, Deep Fantasy, on their list of "40 Greatest Punk Albums of All Time". The band's forth album Paradise was released this spring to more critical acclaim than the predecessors. Mish has been featured in Stereogum, Rolling Stone, SPIN, Pitchfork "Over/Under" and NY Times.
She currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband.
