Mish Barber-Way has been published in VICE, The Talkhouse, The Guardian, i-D, Dazed & Confused, Hustler, LA Times, V magazine, amongst many others. She is the sex and relationship columnist in the Vancouver newspaper, Westender (read “Sex, With Mish Way” HERE), and maintained a column "Muff Stuff" for Broadly. She is currently the Senior Editor at Penthouse.
When not typing with one finger, Mish fronts the band White Lung who are signed to Domino Records. Through out their touring years, the band has received praise from Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, NME and SPIN. Rolling Stone included their album, Deep Fantasy, on their list of "40 Greatest Punk Albums of All Time". The band's forth album Paradise was released in spring of 2016 to more critical acclaim than the predecessors. Mish has been featured in Stereogum, Rolling Stone, SPIN, Pitchfork "Over/Under" and NY Times. In 2015, Anna Wintour got so high she let Mish model in Vogue's September issue (shot by David Sims.) Mish also lucked out when Hedi Sliman and Dario Catellani took too many drugs and mistook her for a model.
She lives in the burbs with her husband and their dog, Tucky Buzzard.
